During a visit for Christmas in Venezuela, our Founder apprenticed with a cobbler and learned how to make shoes. December 2014, she gifted 111 pairs of handmade shoes to little girls in Venezuela and returned to the USA with her heart on fire to continue to help children have shoes so they could go to school.

Her idea blossomed into a mission and with the help of her family and friends. Since then, Shoe The World has placed almost 11,000 pairs of shoes on children's feet and this is only the beginning.
